KERRY KNOTT

Kerry Knott's wide-ranging career includes government, business and ministry.  

Kerry served as Chief of Staff to former House Majority Leader Dick Armey (R-TX) from 1985-1998, where, most notably, he led the development of the "Contract with America" agenda which helped usher in sweeping changes in the 1994 elections.  

He later led Microsoft's congressional affairs team during the dot com era and then served as Sr. VP for Comcast in charge of government affairs at the federal, state and local level.  

In 2010, Knott began a 5-year role as President of the C.S. Lewis Institute, a discipleship ministry that grew to include programs in 14 cities across the US and the UK. 

He served as Senior Policy Advisor for the 2016 John Kasich presidential campaign.  He returned to Capitol Hill in 2019 to work for his home-town Congressman, Robert Aderholt (R-AL), and retired in March 2023. 

Kerry now serves on the board of the C.S. Lewis Institute.  He is a graduate of Auburn University and currently has all three of his kids enrolled at Auburn.  Kerry is married to Michelle, and lives in Guntersville, Alabama.
